Kruse’s Pro Shop was established in 2009 and is the largest pro shop in the Dakotas, we have thousands of happy customers throughout the Midwest and United States. Mike Kruse Jr. has been:

  • involved in the pro shop business and drilling bowling balls for over 16 years
  • in the bowling industry and an owner and operator for more than 20 years

Kruse’s Pro Shop has multiple locations in the Midwest. Our first and original location is in Sioux Falls, SD. Shortly after establishing our location in Sioux Falls, we opened another location in Fargo, ND at the West Acre Bowling Center.

Kruse’s Family Legacy

The Kruse family has been in the bowling industry since the late 1940s.



My Great Grandpa Leo Kruse owned and operated a three lane center in Vermillion, SD in the late 1940s. My Grandpa Deryl Kruse managed an eight lane center in Vermillion, SD during the 1960s and 1970s.

My father, Mike Kruse Sr. is a SD USBC Hall of Fame member and continues to be an advocate for bowling in SD. He has been bowling for 50+ years, has 29 300 games, and has several honor scores. Along with my father, my mother, Laurie Kruse has been involved with bowling for many years and has three SD state titles.

I, Mike Kruse Jr. am very proud to continue my family’s legacy by opening my own pro shop in 2009. I have been in the pro shop business since 2001. While we have several locations in the Midwest, I also travel to multiple other locations. I go to Sioux City, IA to work with the Morningside College Mustangs. I have been a coach for both the boys and girls teams since 2016. I also travel to Yankton, SD to help meet customer’s bowling needs for that area.

I am lucky to continuously stay trained by the best minds in the pro shop industry. On top of my pro shop training, I am a pro staff member for Brunswick and have been since 2010.
